关于苹果的介绍： 苹果是一种古老的水果，起码有几千年的历史了。

苹果树是传说中伊甸园里命运之树，亚当夏娃偷吃的禁果，就是苹果。对于苹果的赞美，从古至今在绘画和文学作品中屡见不鲜。

从丢勒和克拉纳赫的油画，到欧里庇得斯、莎士比亚，一直到泰戈尔和里尔克以及普列什文，都有描写苹果的诗句。高尔斯华绥写过小说《苹果树》，普宁写过小说《冬苹果》，契诃夫的小说《新娘》也特意把新娘娜嘉要离家出走放在家乡的苹果园中，巴乌斯托夫斯基的小说《盲厨师》，更是把莫扎特为临终前的盲厨师演奏的场景，放在了盲厨师眼前苹果花开的四月清晨。

为什么人们对于苹果赋予如此的感情？我想大概因为苹果确实甜美好吃，又普及得很，到处能够看到。苹果树从来不假贵族，而是十分的贫民化，一般都长得并不高大，绝不拒人千里之外，而是伸手可摘，显得温柔可亲。

起码不像是荔枝那样的高贵，一骑红尘妃子笑，无人知是荔枝来。 没错，苹果是大众化的水果之一，在世界水果产量最高的，第一是香蕉，第二就是苹果。

美国19世纪著名的牧师亨利·沃德·比彻尔曾经说苹果是最民主化的水果：“不管是被忽视，被虐待，被放弃，它都能够自己管自己，能够硕果累累。” 比彻尔说得极对，苹果树的生命力极顽强，耐寒力超过任何水果，大概是生长在纬度最高地方的水果了吧。

在北大荒插队的时候，那里没有别的果树，只能够种苹果树，是国光的变种，果子不大，有些发酸，但很脆。苹果下树没多久，冬天就来了。

北大荒的冬天来得早去得晚，“大烟泡儿”一刮，冷得很。因此，苹果很难过冬，当地老乡曾经把苹果储存在菜窖里，土豆都冻成了冰砣，苹果更是早就冻黑冻烂了。

我们刚去的第一年，心里充满着好奇和好胜，秋天到来的时候，苹果树挂果了，菜地里的卷心菜也开始抱心了，我们把苹果放在卷心菜的菜心里，等卷心菜的叶子一层层地长出来，把苹果就紧紧地包在菜心里了。收卷心菜时，我们把包着苹果的卷心菜放进菜窖里，到新年和春节，打开卷心菜，一个个红红的苹果滚了出来，居然一点没冻，咬一口，还是那么脆生生的。

如果说在北大荒我们有什么发明创造的话，这应该算一项吧。当然，也是苹果自己的生命力旺盛，用北大荒的话说是“抗造”。

可以说，它们是在北大荒的冬天和我们惟一相依为命的水果了，在新年和春节的时候，它们给我们欢乐，让我们想起了遥远的家。 据统计，世界每年苹果的产量有几千万吨，美国产量最高，占了世界将近1/4。

美国人对苹果情有独钟，在他们国土刚刚开发的时候，是苹果帮助他们将荒原改造成了家园。美国有名的民间英雄“苹果佬约翰尼”，就是当年用了一生40年的生命时光将苹果树的种子撒在俄亥俄州的荒野上的。

美国向世界出口最多的苹果，是我们现在相当熟悉的蛇果。据说。

有苹果让儿童采摘，但是木匠知道苹果木材不好用。即使桃李的下面可以开辟小路，也没有苹果树的姿容这么优雅。

我很早就关注了阮一峰的网络日志公众号，在141期内容里面，有一段关于国外Six Colors的主编 Json Snell 撰写的苹果历史上的20个产品的介绍和说明Json Snell是一位资深编辑，之前在Mac World工作了14年，一直关注苹果的技术，产品相关的内容报道，几乎涵盖了所有苹果发布的核心产品，目前自己创建 Six Colors 、 The Incomparable 、在Apple Pod上做编辑，播客。

我个人不是果粉，但是我很钦佩乔布斯，能成为乔布斯这样的产品经理是我的一个夙愿，也一直在探寻如何才能提高自己的格局和世界观。Json Snell撰写的这20篇文章，从产品发展的角度来阐述苹果的发展历程，为我提供了一个全新的视角来看待乔布斯和苹果公司。

决定做一个搬运工，从Six Colors将文章翻译过来。

我作为一位资深观察员，一直关注苹果的发展，超过苹果公司四分之三的生命历程。长达27年的观察，让我对苹果的历史有了更深入的观察视角。我清晰的记得在OS X之前的Mac，在iMac之前的Mac，在PowerPC之前的Mac，甚至是在System 7之前的Mac，让我们一起来回顾这些Mac。

在这样承载着苹果数十年变化的一年（2020年），我打算构建一个清单，历数苹果历史上20 个最著名的产品。在接下来的20个星期里，我会通过帖子、随笔、播客、视频等多种形式逐个阐述这些产品。

首先，我先解释一下我选择的这个词：最著名的，我并不是说这些产品是我最喜欢的，里面有很多产品我自己也没有用过，我也不是说这些产品是苹果曾经的产品中最好的，这是一个很难衡量的事情，因为苹果最好的产品更多的是近几年发布（一个很明显的例外），否则我们都可能还在用G3 iMac

我的评分系统是比较简单粗暴的（直接武断的），我尝试整理了一个最著名的产品清单，这些产品是我认为能反应苹果过去36年历史的。我想挑选那些流行的，有革命性的，有先见性的，或者承载着有趣故事的产品。如果说我从 Joe Posnanski 的 Baseball 100（棒球百大人物） 系列中学到了什么内容的话，最有价值的就是让我认识到我这个系列糟糕的评分方式和不可原谅的遗漏。

基于这一点，我只能说，我的评分系统可能是糟糕的，我的遗留可能是不能原谅的，但是这些排名都是我自己的。你也可以按照你的标准排名，放到网上，看看是不是每一个人都赞同。

或者如Posnanski说的那样，这件事情的意义对我而言不是评名而是故事。

沿着这条记忆的小巷，我通读了MacWorld、MacUser、MacWeek的许多旧刊，挑选出了一些书，也联系了我许多做Mac相关新闻的优秀同事。感谢他们对我这个项目的贡献。

在讨论这个排名清单之前，我希望这个项目能在我们娱乐的同时，可以展示出那些值得被重新带到聚光灯下的苹果历史。
