艺术家就是艺术家，常人是理解不了的。说干就干，第二天维姆就买下了一头猪。纹身要纹在皮肤上，维姆先是把猪全身的毛剃干净，纹身会产生刺痛，猪儿嚎叫不止跑来跑去，因此要纹好图案，还需要给猪打麻药。

可是给猪打麻药需要多大剂量呢？注射多了可能导致猪的死亡，太少又不能起到麻醉的效果。考虑再三，维姆从保守出发，一次使用少量的剂量，只纹两个小时，以至于整个作品的完成耗费了三个月的时间。

纹在猪身上的惊艳图案给维姆带来了更广泛的名誉，不过随之而来的也有一件麻烦事：维姆收到了香奈儿公司寄来的法院传票，原因是他在猪身上纹上了该公司的logo，造成了侵权。按照事情发展，他应该会吃一场官司，但谁曾想这正是聪明维姆的完美计谋，维姆故意在猪身上纹上香奈儿公司的标志，目的就是为了他们去找他。

因为接下来，他就能联系到香奈儿公司。维姆表示愿意把附有纹身的猪皮送给该公司，重点是他向公司负责人预言用该猪皮制作的奢侈品一定会大卖。

在维姆的建议下，香奈儿公司决定尝试一下这个想法，后来，雕刻有纹身的猪皮被制作成了两个手袋。果真手袋一经入市，就引起了很大的反响，价格被炒到出奇地高，换置成人民币需要50万元一只。

不过，给活猪纹身剥皮的行为，在常人看来怎么看怎么怪异，甚至还有点血腥残忍。于是后来，就有动物保护组织站出来反对，认为这是一种虐待动物的行为，香奈儿公司为了维护企业形象，不得不中止了这种包包的生产，至于维姆，在大捞一笔后也不再继续这种艺术行为。

人类驯养猪的历史可以追溯到原始社会时期，猪肉也只是作为重要的食物，给猪纹身卖高价猪皮只是艺术家能异想天开想到的事情，但说到底确实有些残忍，一些人变着花样享乐和一些人绞尽脑汁追逐经济利益。
