基本语法

 组成句子的各个部分叫句子成分。英语句子成分有主语,谓语,表语,宾语,宾语补足语,定语,状语等。

 顺序一般是主语,谓语,宾语,宾语补足语,而表语,定语,状语的位置要根据情况而定。

 1、主语

 主语表示句子主要说明的人或事物,一般由名词,代词,数词,不定式等充当。 He likes watching TV 他喜欢看电视。

 2、谓语

 谓语说明主语的动作,状态或特征。一般可分为两类:

 1),简单谓语

 由动词(或短语动词)构成。 可以有不同的时态,语态和语气。

 We study for the people 我们为人民学习。

 2),复合谓语:情态动词+不定式

 I can speak a little English 我可以说一点英语。

 3、表语

 表语是谓语的一部分,它位于系动词如be之后,说明主语身份,特征,属性或状态。一般由名词,代词,形容词,副词,不定式,介词短语等充当。

 My sister is a nurse 我姐姐是护士。

 4、宾语

 宾语表示动作行为的对象,跟在及物动词之后,能作宾语的有名词,代词,数词,动词不定式等。

 We like English 我们喜欢英语。

 有些及物动词可以带两个宾语,往往一个指人,一个指物,指人的叫间接宾语,指物的叫直接宾语。

 He gave me some ink 他给了我一点墨水。

 有些及物动词的宾语后面还需要有一个补足语,意思才完整,宾语和它的补足语构成复合宾语。如:

 We make him our monitor 我们选他当班长。

 5、定语

 在句中修饰名词或代词的成分叫定语。

 用作定语的主要是形容词,代词,数词,名词,副词,动词不定式,介词短语等。形容词,代词,数词,名词等作定语时,通常放在被修饰的词前面。

 He is a new student 他是个新生。

 但副词,动词不定式,介词短语等作定语时,则放在被修饰的词之后。

 The bike in the room is mine 房间里的自行车是我的。

 6、状语

 修饰动词,形容词,副词以及全句的句子成分,叫做状语。

 用作状语的通常是副词,介词短语,不定式和从句等。状语一般放在被修饰的词之后或放在句尾。副词作状语时可放在被修饰的词前或句首。

 He lives in London 他住在伦敦。

 7补语

 用来说明宾语或主语所处的状态或正在进行的动作,因为英语中有些动词加宾语后意思仍然不完整,如:make(使),ask(请)等等。如果我们说:我们使我们的祖国。这不是一句完整的话。应该说:我们使我们的祖国更美丽。这是的`“美丽的(beautiful)”为形容词做补语,说明祖国的状态。英语句子为:We will make our country more beautiful作补语的词或词组为:形容词,副词,名词,不定式,-ing形式,数词等。

 8宾补

 就是宾语补足语,就是补充说明宾语的 。

 例:I know you are student good at maths

 在这个句子中,good at maths 就是补语。 宾语补语也可以是句子,所以这个句子也可以是:

 I know you are student who is good at maths

 还可以是-ing 形式 I see you crossing the street

 简单说就是补充和说明主语和宾语的成分因此,就出现了主语补足语和宾语补足语上面两位举的例子都不错只是热雪冰冷的宾补的句子例子不是很恰当哦他的例子是定语从句 啊 还有 主语补足语可以是表语 。

 例如:Tom is a studentstudent是对Tom的解释与说明 另外,Tom was seen playing on the playground这个句子中playing是对Tom的解释说明 是主补

 英语句子的基本结构可以归纳成五种基本句型及其扩大、组合、省略或倒装。掌握这五种基本句型,是掌握各种英语句子结构的基础。

英语五种基本句型列式如下:

 l 基本句型一:SV(主+谓)

 l 基本句型二:SVP(主+谓+表)

 l 基本句型三:SVO(主+谓+宾)

 l 基本句型四:SVoO(主+谓+间宾+直宾)

形容词/副词的比较级和最高级的构成规则

(1)单音节词和少数以-er,-ow结尾的双音节单词,比较级在后面加-er,最高级在后面加-est。

① 单音节单词:small→smaller→smallest short→shorter→shortest

tall→taller→tallest great→greater→greatest

② 少数以-er,-ow结尾的双音节单词:clever→cleverer→cleverest narrow→narrower→narrowest

(2)以不发音e结尾的单音节单词,比较级在原形后加-r,最高级在原级后加-st。

large→larger→largest nice→nicer→nicest able→abler→ablest

(3)以一个辅音字母结尾的闭音节(即:辅音+元音+辅音)单词中,先双写末尾的辅音字母,比较级加-er,最高级加-est。

big→bigger→biggest hot→hotter→hottest fat→fatter→fattest

(4)以“辅音字母+y”结尾的双音节词, 把y改为i,比较级加-er,最高级加-est。

easy→easier→easiest heavy→heavier→heaviest

(5)其他双音节词和多音节词,比较级在前面加more,最高级在前面加most。

(6)有少数形容词、副词的比较级和最高级是不规则的,必须熟记。

形容词和副词比较级的用法

(1)“甲+be+(倍数)+形容词比较级+than+乙”表示“甲比乙…”或“甲比乙…几倍”。

Tom is taller than Kate汤姆比凯特高。

This room is three times bigger than that>这个房间比那个大三倍。

(2)“甲+实意动词+(倍数)+副词比较级+than+乙”表示“甲比乙…”或“甲比乙…几倍”。

I got up earlier than my mother this morning我今天早晨起床比我妈妈还早。

He runs three times faster than his brother他跑的速度比他弟弟快三倍。

1主语:句子所陈述的对象。

2谓语:主语发出的动作。一般是有动作意义的动词。

3 宾语:分为动词宾语和介词宾语,属于动作的承受者。

4 系动词:表示状态或状态变化的动词,没有实际的动作意义。如 be, 感官系动词(look, sound, smell, taste 和 feel)、保持类系动词(keep, stay 和 remain)、状态变化类系动词(become、get、turn 和 go)等。

5 表语:紧跟系动词后面的成分。

6 定语:修饰名词或代词的成分。

7 状语:修饰形容词、副词、动词或句子的成分。

8 补语:分为宾语补足语和主语补足语。是对宾语和主语的补充说明,与其有主动或被动的逻辑关系。

例如:You should keep the room clean and tidy你应该让屋子保持干净整洁。(You是主语, should keep是谓语,the room是宾语,clean and tidy是宾语补足语。)

This kind of food tastes delicious这种食物吃起来很可口。(This kind of food是主语, tastes是系动词, delicious是表语。)

★ 注意:主语、谓语、宾语、系动词、表语、补语是一个句子的主干成分;定语和状语是一个句子的修饰性成分,不是主干成分。

简单句的五种基本句型

1“主语 + 谓语”(即“主谓”句型)

例:They arrived in Harbin yesterday morning分析:“they”(主语)“arrived”(谓语)。

2“主语 + 谓语 + 宾语”(即“主谓宾”句型)

例:I study English分析:“I”(主语)“study”(谓语动作)“English”(宾语即动作涉及的对象)。

3“主语 + 谓语 + 间接宾语 + 直接宾语”(即“主谓双宾”句型)

例:Our teacher taught us English分析:“our teacher”(主语)“教”(谓语动作)“us”(间接宾语)“English”(直接宾语)。

4“主语 + 谓语 + 宾语 + 宾语补足语”(即“主谓宾宾补”句型)

例:He asked her to go there分析:“he”(主语)“asked”(谓语动作)“her”(宾语即动作涉及的对象)“to go there”(补语—补充说明宾语做什么)。

5“主语 + 系动词+ 表语”(即“主系表”句型)

常用的系动词有be, keep,lie, remain, stand, become, fall, get, go, grow, turn, look, feel, seem, smell, sound, taste, 等。

例:I am a teacher分析:“I”(主语)“am”(系动词)“a teacher”(表语—即表明主语的身份)。

1 宾语从句的含义

在主句中做宾语的从句叫做宾语从句。

如:She knew that the teacher had seen the film她知道这位老师看过这部**。

“that the teacher had seen the film”做 knew 的宾语,同时又是由连接词 that 引导的从句,所以它叫做宾语从句。

2 宾语从句的分类

(1)动词宾语从句:顾名思义,它是位于动词后面的宾语从句。

如:He asked whose handwriting was the best in our class他问我们班上谁的书法最好。

(2)介词宾语从句:顾名思义,它是位于介词后面的宾语从句。

如:I agree with what you said just now 我同意你刚才说的话。

(3)形容词宾语从句:顾名思义,它是位于形容词后面的宾语从句。

如:I am afraid that I will be late 恐怕我要迟到了。

3 引导名词性从句的连接词

(1)that:没有含义,在宾语从句中不做成分

(2)whether/if:表示是否,在宾语从句中不做成分。

(3)连接代词:what, which, who, whom, whose(在宾语从句中做主、宾、表和定语)

连接副词:where, when, how, why(在宾语从句中做状语)

4 在做宾语从句的题目时应注意两点

(1)时态:

①当主句是现在时态时,宾语从句可以根据需要使用任何时态。

②当主句是过去时态时,宾语从句必须是一种过去的时态。

③当表示客观事实或普遍真理的句子做宾语从句时,任何时候都用一般现在时。

2宾语从句的时态问题

一般情况下宾语从句的时态必须和主句的时态保持一致:

She says that she has been a college student for 3 years

当主句的谓语动词是过去时时,宾语从句中只能用过去的某种时态。

5代词:代词,是代替名词或一句话的一种词类。大多数代词具有名词和形容词的功能。

6数词:是指表示数目多少或顺序多少的词。英语的数词可以作句子的主语、宾语、表语和定语。

7冠词:是一种虚词,在句子中一般不重读,本身不能独立使用,只能与名词放在一起(一般用于名词之前 )帮助说明名词所指的人或事物。

8介词:介词表示名词、代词等与句中其它词的关系,在句中不能单独作句子成分。

9连词:连词是用来连接词与词、词组与词组或句子与句子、表示某种逻辑关系的虚词。

句式语法

1陈述句

陈述句是指陈述一个事实或者说话人的看法的句型。陈述句又分为肯定的陈述句和否定的陈述句,简称为肯定句和否定句。

陈述句的五种基本句型

(1)主语+连系动词+表语。

(2)主语+谓语(不及物动词)。

(3)主语+谓语(及物动词)+宾语。

(4)主语+谓语(及物动词)+间接宾语+直接宾语。

2一般疑问句

(1)一般疑问句的结构

①含be动词或情态动词的一般疑问句,其结构为:

be+主语+其它部分

情态动词+主语+动词原形+其它部分

肯定回答用“Yes,主语+be\情态动词”,否定回答用“No,主语+be\情态动词+not”。be或情态动词和not可用缩写形式,主要有isn’t,aren’t,wasn’t,weren’t,can’t,mustn’t,needn’t等。

②含行为动词(或称为实义动词)的一般疑问句,其结构为:

助动词+主语+动词原形+其它

肯定回答用“Yes,主语+do\does”,否定回答用“No,主语+do\doesnot”。助动词也常用缩写形式,主要有don’t,doesn’t,didn’t等。

各类时态的语法

1一般现在时:表示经常、反复发生的动作或行为

2一般过去时:表示在过去某个时候发生的动作或存在的状态,也表示在过去某段时间里经常发生的习惯性动作

3一般将来时:表示将要发生的动作或存在的状态及打算、计划或准备做某事

She is preparing her lessons now 她现在正在预习功课

5现在完成时 :表示在说话时结束的某一动作或状态

He has done a lot of work 他干了许多工作。

6现在完成进行时:表示从过去某一时间开始一直延续到的动作。这一动作可能刚刚开始,也可能仍在继续,并可能延续到将来
