这些年,总是倾心于纸质书,可以随心所欲的勾勾画画,就连那书中的固纸气味也给人一种儒雅的微醺感。只有对于一遍即过,或者无须反复咀嚼琢磨的书,为了省时省事省空间,就找来电子书看看。这本书是随手点开微信读书软件推送的,看到“哲学”二字,也就来了兴趣,10几万字的书一天内读完。
《哲学的故事》,我初步查了下有3本书都是这个名。最负盛名的是美国学者威尔·杜兰特晚年创作的,因文风活泼、语言流畅广受赞誉,也是流传和影响最广泛的,豆瓣评分89。
还有一个是英国作家布莱恩·麦基的作品,他因致力于哲学普及推广为人所熟知,该书豆瓣评分87。
我看的这个是龚耘(海军工程大学教授)、彭克慧著,是一本通俗的哲学入门书籍,作者将哲学史划分为8个时代,记录了古今中外历史上44位著名哲学家的简要生平和主要思想,故事简洁精练,文笔朴实易懂,观点亦深亦浅,原书应该是图文并茂的,配了300余幅插图,更加形象直观,读起来不觉得生涩,还带有一些“八卦味”,人物活灵活现。该书豆瓣评分63。
这样的评分,其实也不冤枉。在我的眼里,书分为2种,一种是一个字一个字写出来的,写书的人应该称作者;另一种是千万人写过后,把他们的文字整理编撰出来,集成书,编书的应该称为编者。这本书,我觉得大体是编集剪辑而成,其最大的弱点是缺乏作者独立的见解和思考,作者更像是哲学馆里的讲解员,按照年代先后顺序,对照着哲学家的画像,一个一个为我们讲解他们的生平故事与主要成就,再加些奇闻秩事点缀一下,使人物故事更加生动。
阅读这本书可以有以下收获:
1 与智者初次相识。把历史上伟大的有代表性的哲学家认一遍,用心记住名字、国籍和大致的年代,这是哲学入门的基本功。可千万别小瞧这一点,当你与领导、朋友闲聊瞎侃的时候,把这些名字如数加珍的抖一遍,也足够让你备受瞩目、光芒四射的。认识他们,别人就会觉得你与智者为伍,与智慧相邻,久而久之,就会把你与智者混为一谈,可以达到鱼目混珠的效果。
2把哲学家与哲学观点连连看。深挖一点,大致了解每个哲学家提出的核心思想,有些格言式的经典语录必须记下来。比如,苏格拉底“认识你自己”,亚里士多德“吾爱吾师,吾更爱真理”,赫拉克利特斯“人不能两次踏入同一条河流”,以及古希腊哲学家对世界本源的认知,泰勒斯认为是水,赫拉克利特认为是火,毕达哥拉斯认为是数,德谟克利特认为是原子,等等。把人和思想一一对应起来,这算是哲学的初级者了。
3领略不同人生给予的启示。这本书介绍了哲学家的大致生平经历,每个人从生到死都有个简要的概括。可以看出,大家的成长经历千差万别,那么是什么力量让他们殊途同归的成为伟大的哲学家呢赫拉克利特甘愿舍弃王位回归原始生活;斯宾诺莎坚守着“用双手谋取世俗的物品,用头脑获得神圣的思想”,一生靠打磨镜片谋生;康德恪守机械式地生活方式窥视宇宙星辰,却从未离开家乡;培根具有善与恶、真与伪、美与丑的双重人格;卢梭从偷窃、诬陷最后走向忏悔;马克思窘迫潦倒的一生,等等。他们的经典故事,充分展现了这个世界的“差异美”“个性美”。至于其中蕴含着什么样的力量,当然是仁者见仁、智者见智,我以为“好奇是原始的驱动力”。
4择良师而从之。良师,是指符合自己思想、性格和兴趣的老师。44位哲学家出台走秀亮相,你看上了哪个,是要把师傅领回家的。如果喜好提问式的思辨当然是首选苏格拉底,向往理想国的世界就选柏拉图,追求自由的原始状态必是师从犬儒大师第欧根尼,想要获得快乐的人生自然是伊壁鸠鲁,为基督信仰而献身可以选择奥古斯丁,谋求改造现实世界就学马克思,对精神和心理世界感兴趣就去找弗洛伊德……他们的思想基本覆盖了人类现有的知识领域,以一颗渴求智慧的心去感受,总有一个或多个大师会引起你的共鸣。
康德曾说:有两样东西,对它们的盯凝愈深沉,在我心里唤起的敬畏与赞叹就愈强烈,这就是:头顶上的星空和心中的道德律。
头顶上的星空,对我来说,这些哲学家即是一个个闪亮的星辰。通过了解他们,沿着他们的足迹前行,去感悟自然世界和精神世界的精妙。《哲学的故事》这样类型的书籍还有很多,我的学习实践感受是,想要踏入哲学之门:一是先找相同类型的书籍看几本,推荐《苏菲的世界》,还有杜兰特的《哲学的世界》;二是可以系统的看看《西方哲学史》,推荐罗素的。三是选几部感兴趣的哲学家的原著,静下心来啃一啃,《理想国》《君主论》《忏悔录》《梦的解析》等均可列为必读书目。

中西方哲学的区别:
中国哲学分为古代哲学和现代哲学。古代哲学主要指“春秋百家争鸣”“汉唐儒道三玄”“宋代儒学的发展”“近代中西融合”四个阶段。现代哲学主要指“对中国古代哲学的研究”和“对西方哲学的研究”可以说:“道家的审美理论代表了中国艺术的真精神 。”
西方哲学是拥有相同历史传统和统一概念体系的统一的哲学体系,西方哲学的定义是模糊的。在美国哲学家梯利的《西方哲学史》中虽然提到了马克思以前的社会主义哲学家像欧文,对马克思却只字未提(梯利的《西方哲学史》写的是从古希腊哲学到美国实证主义哲学其时间跨度包括马克思)。
罗素的《西方哲学史》中虽提到马克思,他说他讲马克思是因为马克思是对西方哲学产生重大影响的哲学家。西方哲学中“西方”广被认为不仅仅指地域上的“西方(西欧)”而且只文化上的“西方(资本主义世界)”。

哲学(英语:Philosophy,希腊语:Φιλοσοφία),是对基本和普遍之问题的研究。其按其词源有「爱智慧」之意。哲学是有严密逻辑系统的宇宙观,它研究宇宙的性质、宇宙内万事万物演化的总规律、人在宇宙中的位置等等一些很基本的问题。
哲学就是元知识、元理学,即所谓大道至简。哲学任务就是对现实世界进行元理层面的把握,把多综合为一或把一区分为多,一和多都是元理。元理也要清晰表达、系统构造,这样的元理系统才适用于阐释世界或指导实践。
